Steve Pavlina founded Dexterity Software, an independent computer game developer and publisher. He was Vice President of the Association of Software Professionals (ASP) in 1999 and President of the ASP in 2000. Then, in 2004, Steve began a web site and blog dedicated to personal development, later that year Steve closed Dexterity Software ito focus full-time on the website and blog. Steve has been a leading voice in promoting personal transformation online since he launched his website in early 2000.
Before Steve started blogging about personal growth in 2004, he ran his own computer game development company for 10 years, mostly focused on nonviolent puzzle games. For five of those years, he wrote articles on the side to help other software and game developers. Readers kept requesting more articles on a wide range of topics, which eventually motivated him to get into blogging. Once he retired from game development he realized he could create more positive ripples in the world by shifting to personal development work. Steve still enjoys programming and occasionally write his own software tools to assist with personal growth experiments.
Each month, millions of people access his blogs, podcasts, video and courses and he has helped people with aligning themselves with certain core principles which supports them to accelerate their personal transformational growth. Steve is now the most prolific writer and well-known personal transformation blogger in the world and has been blogging his self-help philosophy for over 20 years.
