Founder's Message

Welcome to my little corner. I decided to create this space share thoughts ideas and stuff that has helped. After years of pondering how people achieve their goals, I embarked on a journey of self-reflection, delving into my own successes and, yes, my share of failures, in search of insights. This introspective journey led me to craft strategies aimed at speed up my progress towards my goals. Today, I owe my growth and perspective to the valuable tools, books, events, people, and experiences that have paved my way.

Dreamer Stealer

Many young people today might not be aware that TV sets used to come in a boxy shape, perched on four legs in the corner of our living rooms. This humble corner box served as our primary source of evening entertainment, often doubling as a babysitter for my family and friends. As a latchkey child, our parents would head off to work in the early hours of the morning, granting us the privilege of indulging in early morning TV shows like "Shintaro, the Master Swordsman of the Samurai," "The Thunderbirds," and the morning kids show, "The Early Birds Show," before we rushed off to school. In the evenings, we would gather as a family to watch TV, a tradition that brought us together after dinner.

Mindfulness is the buzzword these days, making appearances in various forms of media, public spaces, workplaces, and even everyday conversations. Do we really get what it's all about, or are we just caught up in the hype?

A Game Changer

Scattered around the house were Post Notes, multiple notebooks, files on my laptop, and even scribbled notes on serviettes catered for all my ideas and scattered thoughts. The disarray of ideas spread throughout the house was the ultimate-delay barrier in collating my ideas, proofing my book, establishing The Mindful Space Initiative and creating the TMSI Global app.

Learning Setbacks

During my youth, I grappled with reading and writing difficulties. Constantly, I felt inadequate, battling to interpret words and make sense of sentence structures and meanings. Fearing ridicule or being labelled as unintelligent, I kept my struggles a closely guarded secret, never sharing them with anyone. After I left school and working in a series of low-level jobs, I recognized that to secure a more fulfilling role, I had to confront my issues with reading and writing.
